Tamiya Racing Factory
The Team TRF history began circa 1998: at the time, Tamiya mobilized considerable resources for the development of an iconic buggy, The Avante. Outstanding piece of technology and demonstration of ultimate RC engineering of the period, the Avante was designed to raise Tamiya's name at the top of international leaderboards, and the Team TRF first mission was to test it. Unfortunately, despite the Avante becoming one of the most iconic RC buggy ever, the race results never met the expectations.

Ferrari F189 Late Version
When I saw this model listed on a famous auction site, I thought it would perfectly fit in my collection. The auction ended at a very reasonable price, so the Ferrari F189 Late Version joined my collection to complete the Tamiya F1 chassis series, starting with the Tyrrell P34 and ending with the Williams Renault FW18 F103. Toyota Mountain Rider
I have been enjoying trailing with my Mitsubishi Pajero CC-01 for some time now, and I am still enjoying upgrading it from time to time. On day, during a scale run with my friend Laurent, we spoke about the iconic Tamiya 3Speed chassis, both the modernized and original or re-released versions. By coincidence, Laurent shared the link of a classified a few days later: that's how this Toyota Mountain Rider came in.
